Their objective was to hand over a memorandum of grievances to the labour department.

EFF member in the national assembly, Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi, warned the labour department must stop wasting time when it comes to paying workers.  

EFF provincial deputy chairperson, Mahlomola Majake says some workers are being oppressed by their bosses when they raise their concerns.

He further warned the labour department to ensure there are answers to the worker's grievances within 14 days.

Totomane Mthimkhulu, a delegate from the department of labour received the memorandum and said he would mail it to his superiors in Bloemfontein.
