This after an unexpected postponement on Monday after one of the defence team advocates claimed ill-health which forced the proceedings to a halt for a day. 

The legal representative for murder accused, Stanley Bakili, is expected to continue from where he left off by grilling the self-confessed shooter, Xolisile Botha Mbebeto. Advocate Masilo Koenane is attempting to poke holes into the testimony of Mbebeto, who was hired to assassinate Siemens.

Koenane quizzed the confessed career criminal about why his guilty plea statement and testimony in court differ in some key aspects when he incriminated Bakili and others. Last week, Mbebeto told the court he was the only suspect who had a gun before the murder of Siemens but it was later revealed that in his statement after his arrest, Mbebeto said accused number 4, Mojalefa Jali Molusi, also had a gun but didn't use it.

It remains to be seen if these discrepancies by Mbebeto will have any major bearing on the outcomes of the court during the judgment.

Bakili and seven other men are standing trial for the murder of Siemens who was gunned down on 10 May 2018 at the parking basement of Preller Square Shopping Complex. The trial continues.
