NC places restrictions on resorts─── KATLEHO MORAPELA 05:24 Wed, 02 Dec 2020
In efforts to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the Sol Plaatje Municipality in the Northern Cape confirms there will be limited access to resorts over this festive season.
The Municipality says it is implementing restrictions, and that day visitors will not be permitted. Spokesperson Sello Matsie says only limited access for those that had made prior bookings to stay over at these facilities will be allowed entrance.
The decision will be effective immediately up to next year, 3 January.
"In line with the Disaster Management Act: Regulations for Alert level 1 of the COVID-19 lockdown, this is to ensure the safety of the public in preventing the spread of the virus," he said.
