The 61-year-old Jan Joggoms went missing in November 2020 and was last seen at a local clinic. Police spokesperson, Sergio Kock, says the body of the deceased was partially decomposed at the time it was discovered by his brother on Saturday morning.

He says the family managed to identify his body after discovering a packet of medication he received from the local clinic on the day he went missing. Kock adds that no foul play is suspected, however, an autopsy will be done to determine the exact cause of death.

"The Prieska SAPS, SAPS Search and Rescue Team and the local community searched for him ever since he was reported missing. Anyone with information can call D/Cst Benjamin Mphulayana on 062 385 5119. The investigation continues," Kock further adds.
