Tsiu urges people to celebrate in a safe manner and take precautions to not get infected by Covid-19 virus.

She thanks everyone who took intervention to protect them from the virus as well as health care workers and front line staff who saved lives. The MEC says even though many lives were lost, health care workers should be applauded for preventing many deaths.

Montseng adds that health care workers and front line staff are appreciated as they continue to persevere and ensure lives are saved despite difficulties they might face along the way - including a higher risk of contracting the virus.
