Nurse KeKe Machema tells OFM News that they have reached out to their local municipality but have yet to receive a response. The alleged reason for the shortage of water is a pipe burst in Bethlehem. According to the sisters they are sparingly using the last 5 liters of water available to them intensifying the situation as they are unable to sanitize regularly and treat patients.

Furthermore, Machema explains that the water shortage has disabled their ability to make use of the bathrooms, keep their work place clean and treat patients adequately. Despite this, the clinic is still open and will be open for the full working day.
