The suspect allegedly stabbed and killed his younger brother earlier this week following an argument.

Police spokesperson, Thandi Mbambo, says the suspect - Mosiuoa Monchusi - allegedly confronted his younger brother, Sello Monchusi (31), about grocery money that was missing.

A quarrel supposedly erupted between the two at the suspect’s shack in Ramakgari, Thaba Nchu.

She says it is alleged that the suspect stabbed the deceased inside the shack on Wednesday evening, January 13, and dragged the body to the main house.

The victim’s body was found by the police after being alerted by neighbours.

“During investigations, the police found blood stains inside the shack, the victim’s shoe and a knobkierie,” said Mbambo.

Monchusi is expected to lodge a formal bail application during his next court appearance.
