Roaring #AugrabiesFalls incite wanderlust - VIDEO | News Article

The water flow at the immaculate Augrabies Falls is being measured at a roaring 1065 cubic metres per second at present.

SANParks spokesperson Genevieve Maasdorp tells OFM News the flow of the Orange River was measured at Kakamas and 1230 cubic metres per second (cumec) were recorded. This indicates a slow, steady and decreasing water flow expected to last until Friday, says Maasdorp.

On Friday, however, it will be greeted with surging water levels expected to rise to an estimated 2000 cumec, according to Maasdorp.

She adds that the falls will experience a slight increase in flow on Monday but it will be met by a gradual mid-week decrease. The end of the week foresees a surge in movement for the next five to seven days. A sight to behold, concludes Maasdorp.
