The South African Weather Service says the rainy weather will persist for the rest of the week.
Forecaster Lulama Pheme says a yellow level 4 warning has been issued for the country. “We are going to see the sun to the eastern interior but the rain is still with us for the next seven days that we are heading to.
“We are going to have areas of heavy rain but it becomes easier when we are closer to the day to report back on the rain.”
Heavy rainfall is expected to persist over the Western Bushveld of Limpopo, Gauteng, central and eastern parts of the North-West, north-eastern parts of the Free State, south-western Highveld of Mpumalanga as well as the western and north-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.
