#BreakingNews: CIT vehicle robbed in Welkom─── LUCKY NKUYANE 14:40 Tue, 02 Feb 2021
The Hawks in the Free State have confirmed that they are investigating a robbery involving a cash-in-transit vehicle that took place on Tuesday morning in Welkom.
The Hawks' provincial spokesperson, Christopher Singo, tells OFM News that the investigators are still busy with the investigations on the scene. It’s not yet known if any cash was taken or if any casualties were reported .
OFM News reliably learned that it was Fidelity Cash Solutions, which is part of the Fidelity Services Group, that was robbed early on Tuesday morning.
The Facebook Page, WelkomCity Stad, just reported that a cash-in-transit vehicle was robbed at a business in Newby Street, in Dagbreek, Welkom. Their report further indicated that police teams are now searching for three armed men and the vehicle that were involved in the robbery.
