Police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, in a statement says police have found the body of 60-year-old Sydney James Cooper, who was reported missing four days ago.

Makhele says the Langenhovenpark resident's body was discovered after a guest house made a call to the police on Friday afternoon to report a body in one of their units.

Makhele adds Cooper's family positively identified his body.

An inquest docket has been opened to determine the exact cause of Cooper's death.

Cooper sister reported him missing on 23 March 2021.
