Arlington residents fed up with bucket system─── 13:37 Mon, 03 May 2021
The Nketoane Local Municipality in the Free State does not care for its residents. These are the sentiments of residents who spoke to OFM News, and still have to make use of pit latrines.
However, municipal manager Monyane Sefantsi says that this is a long-time problem in the municipality, which is made worse by the fact that people occupy land illegally.
He says people keep staying where there is no infrastructure.
He adds that in the coming two to three weeks, a construction company will be appointed to finish incomplete sewerage infrastructure in parts of the municipality.
