The late EFF Mangaung Metro Municipal (MMM) proportional representative (PR) councillor, Eddie Goliath, who passed away due to Covid-19, will be laid to rest on Saturday.
His funeral will be held under strict Covid-19 protocols in Heidedal in Bloemfontein.
On Friday, a group of EFF members and Heidedal residents held a memorial service in honour of Goliath.
He was described as a humble and disciplined fighter by the deputy president of the party, Floyd Shivambu. Goliath was a member of the ANC prior to joining the Red Berets in 2013 before he was elected as the provincial Treasurer General (TG).
