NW prosecutor to reappear at court─── 10:35 Mon, 17 May 2021
A North West prosecutor is set to reappear before court on Monday, in connection with charges relating to alleged sexual offences against a minor in 2019.
The prosecutor is out on R10 000 bail with strict conditions, including that he will not apply for a passport.
The North West's National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson, Henry Mamothame, confirmed his reappearance to OFM News. After his first appearance, the case was postponed for further investigations.
Mamothame told OFM News that the NPA has served the accused with a letter of suspension due to the seriousness of the case.
