CUT appoints new Institutional Registrar─── 15:53 Wed, 30 Jun 2021

The Central University of Technology (CUT) has appointed Salamina Dzingwa as the new Institutional Registrar, replacing Nothemba Merwetyana who has reached retirement age.
According to the CUT’s website, Dzingwa is expected to resume her duties on 1 July 2021.
The Vice-Chancellor and Principal of CUT, Prof. Henk de Jager, wished Dzingwa well on her new journey and requested the CUT community to warmly welcome her as the new Institutional Registrar. Meanwhile, Merwetyana’s contract has been extended for another month, until 31 July 2021, to allow a smooth handover process to the incoming Institutional Registrar and ensure a smooth transition of governance and continuity.
Dzingwa has a Bachelor of Arts Degree, Masters of Administration (Research), and Doctor of Administration (PHD) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN).
