The police in the Northern Cape has sent a stern warning against the selling of drugs in communities and any other acts of criminality.
This, after a drug suspect was arrested on Saturday and is due to appear in the Kathu Magistrate’s Court this week.
Police spokesperson, Mashay Gamieldien, says a 35-year-old man was arrested in possession of dagga after the police in Smartie Town spotted a suspicious man leaving a house where drugs were allegedly being sold.
The Kathu Acting Station Commander has meanwhile sent a warning against the use of drugs, stating that they will leave no stone unturned.
OFM News earlier reported on seven Free State suspects nabbed with nyaope and bags of crystal meth who are also due in court this week.
Gamieldien says they will continue eradicating drugs from the streets.
