The Bloemfontein mom and her two kids who died in the family tragedy that claimed four lives will be buried in the Eastern Cape this weekend.
The bodies of the mother, Cindy Kagande, and her two teenagers - Isiah (13 years) and Jade Leonard (17 years) - were already transported to their home province.
A family friend says the family is planning a service first in Graaff-Reinet and the cremation service will thereafter take place in Gqeberha. The funeral arrangements for the father, Terry Kagande, is not known yet.
Early indications are that he will be buried in Gauteng, where most of his family resides. His body has been released to be transported to Gauteng. The bodies of all four family members were found at their house in Willows in Bloemfontein.
Police spokesperson, Thandi Mbambo, said the bodies were found following information received by the police about a house that was burning in Victoria Road. She said an inquest, a case of murder, and a case of arson have been registered. Mbambo in a statement confirms the bodies of the father and mother had no visible injuries while those of the two children had several wounds.
The family tragedy has since sent shockwaves on social media with users continuing to convey their condolences.
