Thugs reportedly tried to break into the clinic without success. Provincial health spokesman, Mondli Mvambi, told OFM News luckily nothing was stolen, as the criminals did not gain entry to the facility.

He says the clinic seems to be under the spotlight as this is the second attempt at a break-in within a week.

He adds that clinics are community assets that need to be protected by residents, since it provides them with the health services.

Mvambi further appealed to anyone with information that may assist the investigation to come forward.
