Police spokesperson, Brenda Muridili, says a security vehicle was allegedly attacked by suspects who were occupants of two black sedans and a bakkie where an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.

She says the suspects on Wednesday attacked security guards who were transporting money and fled the scene. Muridili told OFM News several shots were fired, but no one was injured. She further confirms that a vehicle that was driving in the vicinity of Tirisano Road, where the incident took place, was involved in an accident.

Muridili says no arrests have been made yet and investigations continue.
