The municipality has urged community members to ensure that they store enough water that will last them the whole Saturday. Municipal spokesperson Pule Lechesa said that the municipality would like to express its regret for the inconvenience that will be caused by this.

According to Lechesa, areas that will be affected by water cuts are Ladybrand, Maursnek and Platberg. However, the electricity outage will only affect Ladybrand Town.
