This, after she succumbed to Covid-19 related issues.

According to provincial ANC spokesperson, Kenny Morolong, Kgaile’s death serves as a painful remainder of the severity of the pandemic.

Morolong cautioned South Africans against letting their guard down, and to always abide by Covid-19 protocols.

Meanwhile, Kgaile has been described as part of a post-apartheid generation of activists who gave impetus to the struggle.

She was also described as an opponent to gender inequality and discrimination.

The ANC Interim Provincial Committee (IPC) Coordinator, Hlomani Chauke, has conveyed his condolences to the Kgaile family, relatives, the people of Matlosana, as well as Kgaile’s colleagues.
