#Covid19: 8,929 new cases, 596 more deaths─── 09:01 Wed, 21 Jul 2021
The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) reported 8,929 new Covid-19 cases in South Africa.
The NICD has also reported 596 more Covid-19 related deaths, taking South Africa's total death toll to 67,676.
The overall positivity rate has dropped to 22 percent.
#COVID19 UPDATE: A total of 40,173 tests were conducted in the last 24 hrs, with 8,929 new cases, which represents a 22.2% positivity rate.
