Magistrate Rasheed Matthews said he is satisfied with the state's submission and evidence that McKenzie Ratselane will try to evade his trial. 

He was arrested hiding in Ennerdale in Gauteng after being on the run for six days. 

He faces five charges, including attempted murder, kidnapping, and assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm to his wife. His trial is postponed to 7 September 2021. He has not pleaded to charges.
