This is according to Bloemfontein teacher at AD Laudem independent school, Crystal Titus. Titus says for her, the best part of being a female in the education sector is knowing that she has the power to change the world through her learners and also learning from them. Seeing the growth of learners and the improvement of those learners throughout their educational years, makes it worthwhile.

"It’s an amazing feeling, knowing that the doctors and lawyers of tomorrow are actually the learners that's currently in my class. So for me, that's the best part of being a teacher," Titus says.

Titus further tells OFM News that she commemorates Women's Month by being the best version of herself daily and by celebrating her womanhood. This celebration is not limited to this month only, but it is an integral part of her existence which is exercised daily in all her actions.

"I would like to leave you with a quote from Nelson Mandela, that says ‘education is the most powerful  weapon that you can use to change the world’, and that is something that sticks with me," Titus says.
