The first happened on 3 October, after which police launched a manhunt for the suspects that killed a Kimberley man execution-style.

The deceased and a female companion were sitting in a parked car in Galeshewe in the early morning hours.

An unknown white car stopped next to them and the armed occupants started firing at the couple.

The deceased died on the scene, while his companion escaped without injuries. The police say the motive for the shooting is unknown.

The second incident took place on Tuesday morning.

Two suspects were arrested on the N12 near Bloemhof, North West, after the duo were linked to a shooting at Stamper Street in Galeshewe where a man was gunned down.

Provincial police spokesperson, Bashoabile Kale, says both suspects - aged between 39 and 32 - will be charged with murder, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

They will appear before the Galeshewe Magistrate’s Court soon, says Kale.
