This is according to residents of the Nketoane Local Municipality in the Free State.

Their sentiment comes in the wake of serious service delivery constraints – such as a lack of water for several years now.

Nketoane municipal manager, Monyane Sefantsi, has said this is happening because companies allocated to complete the job left it unfinished.

This has led to residents having to resort to using the bucket system.

They believe that politicians only know them during the elections period.

Sefantsi, however, says the Housing Department has already appointed companies that will carry on with the unfinished sewerage project.
