Our matriculants are prepared to conquer the world - FS MEC─── 09:32 Sat, 23 Oct 2021
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga
The Minister of Basic Education, Angy Motshega, and Free State MEC Tate Makgoe hosted a 2021 matriculant pledge signing ceremony on Friday at Tiisetsang Secondary School, Bethlehem, in the Eastern Free State.
Makgoe encouraged learners, and bragged about how the province is always at the top in terms of examination results.
The Director of Education in the Thabo Mofutsanyaba District Municipality, Lindiwe Mabaso, says her district is always at the top and this year's learners should do as the Tiisetsang slogan says "Tshwara o tiye" meaning hold tight.
The learners have promised the minister and the MEC a 100% pass rate.
