#Elections2021: FS DA wants no involvement with ANC, EFF─── 09:43 Thu, 11 Nov 2021
The DA has said loud and clear that it will not get into any coalition with any political parties that involve the EFF or ANC in the Maluti-A-Phofung municipality in the Eastern Free State.
This comes after the meeting with the community organisation, Maluti-A-Phofung 16 (MAP16).
According to the DA's provincial leader, Roy Jankielsohn, they met with the MAP 16 and they will support the formation of the alternative government but not accept any positions in the government.
Jankielsohn said: "We will continue to play our role as a construction opposition and support any decision by this alternative government, only if it will benefit the residents of Maluti-A-Phofung."
To sum up, he said they are open to working together with the MAP16 only if either EFF or ANC are not involved.
