The Department of Health in the Free State is intensifying its Vooma Vaccination campaign with visitations to various taxi ranks.
The department will on Saturday head to Bothaville and Wesselsbron taxi ranks in Lejweleputswa District.
This is part of the National Vooma Weekend Vaccination Campaign, which seeks to get more people, young and old, to vaccinate.
The campaign is to curb and protect residents from the spread of Covid-19, which has so far killed 7 053 people in the province.
The province has 2 999 patients who are currently recovering from Covid-19 which started to spread through the country in 2020.
Meanwhile, MEC of Health, Montseng Tsiu, will be at the Bothaville taxi rank at 10 am. Tsiu is expected to be at the Wesselsbron taxi rank by 12 midday.
