CentralSAANC secures executive mayoral position in Dihlabeng

The ANC's Tseki Tseki was elected as the executive mayor of the Dihlabeng Municipality.
The ANC's Nthabeleng Mofokeng, one of the youngest councillors, was elected Speaker of council, having garnered 26 votes out of 40.
The position of Council Whip went to the ANC's Matshepo Mokotlawho.
The last position to be filled was the chairperson of the Municipal Public Account Committee (MPAC), which went to Maranye Twala, who was elected unopposed.
In attendance were officials from the provincial Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) Department, Independent Electoral Commission (IEC), and community members - who came in their numbers to see the new leadership being elected.
