Following the recent tabling of the Medium Term Budget and Policy Statement (MTBPS) by the Minister of Finance, Enoch Godongwana, Rosho is expected to make announcements on how the province plans to implement cost-cutting measures and how it plans to reallocate funds to projects of high priority. 

Rosho's Adjustment Budget will also seek to address the roll-over of unspent funds from the preceding financial year. Rosho is also expected to shed more light on how the province is continuing to respond and address the economic and social ills caused by the Covid-19.

In a statement, ahead of her Adjustment Budget, Rosho says they will be allocating funds where there’s the greatest need, thus rebuilding our country’s battered economy and setting it to economic recovery and growth,” Rosho says.

The North West Treasury in August this year held a webinar on the use of consultants in municipalities. Rosho said there was a high need to work on measures to improve the financial health of municipalities.
