NW #ANC members to march against IPC─── 06:44 Mon, 13 Dec 2021
A group of ANC members in parts of North West are set to march to Mpekwa House on Monday, as they demand the Interim Provincial Committee (IPC) to go.
Convener Lopang Rothman told OFM News that each region is expected to send one car, this is to abide with Covid-19 regulations, however, he said they cannot stop those who come voluntarily.
The disgruntled members want former MEC Wendy Nelson reinstated in all her positions, and disciplinary process to unfold against IPC coordinator, Hlomani Chauke.
Rothman says they cannot allow the provincial conference of the ANC with the IPC as they have been rigging the process since they were appointed.
Attempts by OFM News to get comments from both IPC spokesperson Kenny Morolong and coordinator Hlomani Chauke were unsuccessful.
OFM News learnt that the North West ANC provincial conference is expected to take place in February 2022.
The ANC's National Executive Committee's (NEC) North West deployee, Obed Bapela ,is expected to receive their memorandum of demands.
