ANC IPC spokesperson, Oupa Khoabane, tells OFM News that the party wishes to expressed its disgust at the vandalism done by individuals who stormed the Provincial Office yesterday.

Scores of ANC supporters yesterday gathered in front of the ANC’s offices to picket against the IPC and called for it to be removed - including that of the Mangaung Interim Regional Committee (IRC).

Khoabane says this matter will be addressed appropriately.

"As for the positions of Mayoral Committee, the ANC has agreement with some political parties which led to the Mayoral Committee being decided the way it is. No Branch or grouping can decide on such positions. Secondly, the IRC is decided by the IPC. The structure is Interim. The IRC is the Regional Task Team (RTT),  it's only the differences of the name.  They are both Interim structures," Khoabane adds.
