Two men believed to be in their 30s have been killed in a head-on vehicle collision with the concrete support pillar of a bridge on the R57 in Vanderbijlpark last night.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 18:49 along with towing and another private service.
The two men were found entrapped and having suffered fatal injuries.
Nothing could be done for them and they were declared dead on arrival.
At the time of this report crews were waiting on SAPS and the Fire Department to arrive for investigation, extraction and hand-over of the scene.
