According to Hawks spokesperson Philani Nkwalase the drugs weighed a total of 7,5kg. The arrest came after the police responded swiftly to a tip-off, about a suspect who was distributing batches of drugs in the Vaal area.

A vehicle matching the description was spotted, stopped, and searched.

The driver was then arrested.

The meth was seized for further investigations, along with the vehicle.

The suspect will face charges of dealing in drugs, and will appear in court soon.
