Police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, says the duo, aged 29 and 31-years-old, are facing charges of the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. Covane says an investigation led police members to the Sonder Hout Farm in Thaba 'Nchu. The house where the suspects were alleged to live was searched and a firearm - a 303 British rifle - was found.

“We need to applaud the hard work of this team, the confiscation of the firearm will save many lives,” says the Provincial Commissioner, Baile Motswenyane.
