NSFAS outreach programme launched in Bohlokong─── 07:55 Wed, 19 Jan 2022

A lot of students experience difficulties at this time of the year when they register for financial support to pursue their studies.
This caused the Free State premier Sisi Ntombela to sign a memorandum of understanding at Bohlokong, in the local municipality of Dihlabeng, with the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS). A NSFAS outreach programme was launched in Bohlokong to assist the students who need to carry on with their 2022 academic year.
The premier emphasised that the budget of the province cannot accommodate all the students in the province. "This is the reason for partnering with the NSFAS so that no student should be left out," said Ntombela.
Speaking to the students about how important the scheme is to help them reach their dreams, the executive mayor Tseki Tseki said this is a seed that the province, together with NSFAS, is planting. He adds that after cultivation, families of the students and the province will be proud.
The scheme was helping students to apply for funding and to receive responses immediately.
