FS government launches 2022 #census─── KEKELETSO MOSEBETSI 07:21 Thu, 03 Feb 2022
The Free State government kick-started Statistics South Africa's 2022 census programme at the Two Towers Church in Bloemfontein on Wednesday night.
The spokesperson for Premier in the Free State, Sello Pietersen, says that the programme will empower government to plan better and account for and strengthen service delivery programmes to meet the needs of the community.
He adds the process of counting and identification will allow government resources to be deployed to address the needs of the broader society and leaving no individual behind.
Pietersen said says Premier Sisi Ntombela paved the way for residents of the province as she began the process of being counted last night. He concluded that Ntombela called on all Free State residents to get counted using either email, face-to-face interaction or online registrations.
