Mohokare Local Municipality’s spokesperson, Lehlohonolo Mafatman, told OFM News that tar was bought in December to have the main street of the town, Lucas Majozi Street, repaired as this is the first street visitors use when they arrive in town.

The municipality’s reason for the potholes is the rainfall that they experienced throughout December and January.

We have managed to source out tar and we are waiting for the perfect weather conditions; as there are conditions attached to the repairing of roads. There is definitely a plan in hand and by next month there will be no potholes in Zastron.
