Mamsie Tsoene said the money will go a long way in ensuring that the municipality has money to refurbish its infrastructure and render other services.

While addressing local and long-distance taxi drivers and owners at an event that was organised by Manyatseng Taxi Association, she said that the municipality wants to improve the condition of the roads. She, however, stated that this would only be possible if residents pay for municipal services.

Tsoene also said that the municipality will soon organise advanced, defensive driving training for local drivers to enhance their driving skills.
