Mangaung's bulk water supplier, Bloem Water, will on Wednesday hand over Jojo tanks to different farmers and households.
The handover is part of its Rainwater Harvesting Initiative which forms part of the waterboard’s Corporate Social Responsibility Programme.
The Department of Water and Sanitation has partnered with the entity in the implementation of the integrated service delivery approach.
The initiative aims to encourage rainwater harvesting as the way to the future and promote food gardening for food security, as well as to give back to the communities in the areas of service.
