Galeshewe police are investigating the discovery of the badly decomposed human remains in the area on Tuesday. A resident told OFM News' correspondent, Benjamin Tshabile, that the discovery started with the unassuming dog that was spotted playing inside the yard of a shack in Madiba Square.

According to the resident, the dog was seen in her neighbour’s yard, mauling a badly decomposed human arm. The community members promptly called the police to the scene.

Galeshewe police spokesperson, Timothy Sam, says once the police were at the scene, they began combing the area for the body, which was found not too long after. The police are now requesting community members with any information that could assist with the investigation, to come forward. Sam stresses that all information will be treated confidentially by the police.
