Matlosana’s water is clean: Municipality─── 16:06 Fri, 25 Feb 2022
The Matlosana Local Municipality Executive Mayor, James Tsolela, has assured residents in the area that the water provided to them is clean and safe to drink.
This follows claims of a typhoid outbreak in the area.
The North West Department of Health earlier this week confirmed cases of typhoid in nearby Khuma.
Speaking to OFM News, municipal spokesperson Ntswaki Makhetha confirmed that the water has been tested and is safe.
She says the municipality will continue to provide communities with clean water and there is no need for fear.
