Double murder accused remains in custody─── 16:15 Fri, 25 Feb 2022
The case against 40-year-old Mzingizi Bushin Mdliki, who stands accused of strangling two children, was postponed by the Vanderbiljpark Magistrate's Court until March 3, 2022.
Mdliki is facing two charges of murder, and two of attempted murder.
It is alleged that the accused took his ex-girlfriend's two children, and two nephews to a field, where he killed two of the children.
A fourth child escaped and notified community members, who called the police.
Two children died at the scene, while one was taken to hospital.
