According to a media statement issued by ANC National spokesperson Pule Mabe, this is part of President Cyril Ramaphosa and the NEC’s engagements on the 2021 Local Government Evaluation, and in preparation for the Launch of the Letsemela campaign.

He says engagements will be held with ANC structures throughout the country.

Mabe says the ANC declared 2022 "The Year of Unity and Renewal to Defend and Advance South Africa's Democratic Gain" during the party’s 110th anniversary held in Polokwane on January 10, and will therefore use the upcoming launch of the Letsemela campaign to actively participate in resolving community challenges.

Mabe also adds that the party will unveil full details of the campaign in the next coming week, with a theme attached to each month for the two-year long programme.

"The campaign is also an important building block for the 2024 general elections and will see the ANC engage with broader spectrum of stakeholders," he adds.

Mabe further added that Mabuza will be at the Mangaung Indaba Auditorium, Bloemfontein, today.

He will on Sunday head to MPCC, Phuthaditjhaba, in Qwaqwa tomorrow.
