The pharmaceutical company Aspen has partnered with the Department of International Relations (Dirco) to evacuate South African students caught up in the war in Ukraine.
Students from various countries studying in Ukraine have been forced to flee the country after the Russian military invasion.

A joint statement issued by Aspen and Dirco says the 10 evacuated students will arrive on Thursday morning.
Over 1.2 million people have fled Ukraine since the Russian military invasion began two weeks ago.
