The community of Galeshewe have raised serious concerns about rape cases allegedly continuing to increase in Kimberley.
It is alleged that another 15-year-old girl in Galeshewe was attacked and raped by three men while walking alone to visit her friend in the same area where the incident occurred.
The police in Kagisho have confirmed the incident and are calling on to the public to help track and identify the culprits.
Meanwhile, the community of Jankempdorp - 90km from Kimberley - have picketed outside the Jankempdorp Magistrate's Court on Wednesday during the brief court appearance of the 26-year-old Aobakwe Jonny, accused of raping an 8-year-old girl in Jankempdorp.
The accused was denied bail after the NPA successfully oposed bail due to the seriousness and the continuous increase in rape cases in the Francis Baard district.
