Charley Pietersen will be launching his very first documentary, titled “Fatherlessness”, on Thursday 28 April 2022 at the cinema at the Waterfront Loch Logan at 18:30 sharp.

Pietersen, who is also the founder of the ‘Growing Up Without A Father Foundation’ in South Africa, explained to OFM News that his vision with the documentary, book and organisation is to inspire more fathers to be involved in their parenthood journey.

As a father and grandfather, who was raised by a single mother, Pietersen is intending to travel to all nine provinces in South Africa to fast-track the mission of uplifting fatherhood, while arrangements to have the documentary available on Netflix and other platforms are underway. The documentary, which was inspired by his “Growing Up Without A Father” book, is one of the diverse methods used to communicate the message to everyone it can possibly reach.

Having communicated through speech, writing and now performance to ensure that all people with different interests of consuming information are accommodated, he mentioned that due to Covid-19 regulations, attendance will be restricted to people who have reserved seats.
