The Hawks in the Free State are probing an alleged R15 million bogus investment scheme.

According to provincial Hawks spokesperson, Christopher Singo, the police have since launched a manhunt for Moeketsi Ntshasa.

Singo tells OFM News they believe Ntshasa can help with the investigation into the scheme.

It is alleged that between 2018 and 2021 victims invested their money in a company - known as Integrated Investment Inn - with the promise of receiving a return of 10 percent interest in their investments.

Singo says the victims did not receive their money as promised, and the company has since vacated its premises in Ladybrand.

He adds the Hawks’ team based in Bethlehem is appealing to the public to assist in tracing Ntshasa.

"Anyone with information that may assist the police in locating Ntshasa may contact investigating officer, Warrant Officer Sidwell Mpholo, at 082 372 0386. Any information received will be treated with strict confidentiality," Singo adds
