Mbeki returns to Free State amidst political squabbles─── LUCKY NKUYANE 08:27 Sun, 08 May 2022

Former president Thabo Mbeki has paid another visit to the Free State amidst talks that the party's Interim Provincial Committee (IPC) seeks to expel troubling councillors.
The former president was recently in the province, where he engaged the IPC and members of the party - which is besieged by internal squabbles emanating from political differences.
OFM News previously reported that the IPC spokesperson, Oupa Khoabane, vehemently denied the assertions that they were planning to get rid of 10 councillors - including the speaker of the embattled Mangaung Metro, Stefani Lockman, among others.
